Dating and Learning to Drive

On holiday recently I was chatting to a young man about the
dating game and discovered that he had not yet passed his driving test and this
got me thinking about the importance of being able to drive, something I had
taken for granted. This young man lived in the Midlands and a young women on
holiday that took an interest in him lived in Wales. If the pair wished to
commence dating on return back to the UK then there was a big obstacle, namely
how the two could get to meet each other?
In the case above, the advantage of him being able to drive and having either
his own car or another available can be clearly seen. However there are many
more advantages to being able to drive and owning a car when it comes to dating.
You meet a woman on a night out, you are sober and safe to drive, you can offer
her a ride home. You have your chance to get a different type of ride.
Arranging to pick up a woman in your car for a date gives you an
opportunity to check out the house where she lives. She may look presentable on
a night out, is this the real person though? By calling for her you can begin to
form an idea of her background etc.
Internet dating often involves meeting woman some distance away from your home
and thus having a car is a must unless you are going to limit
yourself to women that can come and visit you!!!.
In a nutshell learning to drive a car and subsequently owning one can increase
your chances of pulling the girls.
