Drinking or Dating

It seems that in the UK at least, the main place for meeting members of the opposite sex is mainly in establishments selling alcoholic beverages. Does that mean that you are forced to drink alcohol??

Steve and Sam were two mates that went out regular on the pull together, both keen on increasing the number of notches on their belts. Steve set out his limit to one or two pints of beer whereas Sam had no limit set nor knew when enough was enough. Although Sam was more often drunk at the end of the evening, he could help but wonder why Steve either approached a female or a female approached him and following brief conversation the two became locked in an embrace. Sam asked Steve why this often happened and Steve replied that he had been chatting up the woman all evening. Sam was perplexed at this answer and said "How can that be, you have been stood with me all night?". Steve answered "You do not have to talk to woman to chat them up". Sam was now even more confused. Basically what Steve was doing throughout the evening was searching for a woman that he fancied and in return fancied him. Once located Steve would from a distance flirt with her until such time that he knew he could approach her with confidence that she was his.
Sam did get notches on his belt on their outings but only because of Steve's spotting of potential mates for them both.

Peter along with other members of his family had gone abroad for a wedding. Paula was staying with her parents at the same hotel. Peter fancied Paula and was not sure how she felt about him though. Those with the knowledge of these matters could easily see that she did indeed fancy him in return.
Mutual friends they had met asked the two to join them for a late night drinking session away from the hotel. Peter and Paula sat next to each other, his hand reached for hers and she held his beneath the large table. Before very long one of the couple made an excuse to leave the party and the two of them left together, once clear of the group, they embraced each other prior to him taking her back to his room.

Now that is what should have happened!!!

What did actual happen

Peter had drunk far too much and Paula had only a few prior to going to the late night bar, although she soon began drinking more than she was used to once at the late night bar. To all but one in the group it was plain to see that Paula was besotted with Peter. Peter sat on one side of a big table and Paula the other. Members of the group moved places while Peter went to the toilet to get them to sit together. Even though Peter was now sat next to Paula he did not notice how she had only eyes for him. Paula began to complain of feeling sick and indicated that she was going back at which all members of the group expected that Peter would offer to escort her. She set off alone and the group forced Peter to escort her back to the hotel.

Terry had gone out with some friends that he worked with and drank far too much in the early part of the evening. Later he approached a simply stunning dark haired beauty and attempted to engage her in conversation. The girl looked a little puzzled at him and then announced that 30 minutes earlier he had told her to leave him using foul language. Poor Terry had no memory of this nor that he had been seen locked in an embrace with her as whitnessed by some of his friends, envious of his conquest. Neadless to say poor Terry got no further with her that night and never to his knowledge saw her again.

Victor went out with friends and was not in a mood for dating but for drinking. It was late in the evening and the group of friends entered the final public house on their planned route. The next day Victor awoke with a vague memory and was unsure if he had made a date or if he had dreamt it. So wierd was this memory that he could not for certain believe it could be true. His date was with one of his ex girlfriend's step sister. Not so strange until you learn she was 7 years of age the last time they met and now transformed from girl to a woman aged 23. Victor did remember the time and place and went to meet her and thus started their affair together. I added that story since drinking does not always mean that you can fail to get a date even though you are so drunk you do not have total recall the next day.

Drink can make you believe you are going to bed with Kelly Brook only to awake next morning to find yourself at the side of Nora Batty, complete with wrinkled stockings.

If you are serious about pulling woman then why not limit your intake of alcoholic beverages to a limit of say one or two pints of beer every four hours. To keep in with a crowd try drinking shandy since this means you can have four pints. The pop will also reduce the dehydration and thus reduce effects the day after. By limiting your consumption you will still be able to overcome any nerves but still have most of your senses working at just under their peak levels. Try it for a few months and see if it can work for you!!!!!
